Book Impressions: A review in review

In addition to my 100 books reading challenge, I will be posting my impressions of the various books that I have read on the list, along with a summary and the reasons why I liked the book (for which I will include a final verdict complete with a rating system from 0 to 10). Perhaps this will come in useful for those of you who are interested in said book and cannot decide whether you should read it or not.

There are certain criteria that I will include in my review, after the self-written synopsis:
I will be looking at the writing style, including the effects of the chosen vocabulary in relation to the content; the creativity and imagination it took to come up with the plot, provided the plot takes place on a different world or in a fantasy setting of some sort; the chosen perspectives, the overall morality, the characters and character growth, and whether the characters are memorable or easily forgettable; the ending, which might contain spoilers, and which I might compare to the beginning, in case the ending and beginning happen to create a noticeable and clever frame for the story.
I may not include all of the above-mentioned criteria in every review, particularly if the author is very well known and appears at the top of every school reading list.
I will give my overall impression of the novel and a final verdict: Is it worth reading (more than once)? Is it a classic? Is it over-hyped or under-rated?
Using a self-devised rating system I will give the novel a score from 0 to 10, keeping everything the various criteria in mind.

To give you an idea of how I plan to use my rating system, I have written a short description befitting each score.

0: Use this book whenever the toilet paper runs out
1: This is the second-worst writing imaginable
2: This is just bad.
3: What was the author thinking?
4: It has a small amount of potential, but was badly executed.
5: Not bad, but boring
Every book with a lower score than five is a book I regret having read and would not recommend to others. Every book with a score of five or higher is a book that I would probably recommend.
6: Pretty good, a somewhat interesting read. The execution could have been better, though.
7: Well written and entertaining
8: It has a good style and a fascinating plot.

Every book with a score of eight or higher I would definitely recommend
9: It is easily a classic. I might want to read it again.
10: It is an excellent, brilliant book, great even among the Greats. I would definitely read it again, and I advise everyone else to read it as well.

This review series, along with a second review series that will involve the book's exterior, will run parallel to my book challenge. However, if I read a book outside of the challenge or after the challenge, I will review it all the same, both the inside and the outside.
